I've been looking around for some of my work that I did last year and I can't find it. I think it might of been thrown out. Well, it serves me right for not picking it up on time (5 months ago). But its ok, I have a solution. I don't know why I didn't think of it before but I could just make some new art that is similar to the missing work. I guess its because I've been busy or lazy or something

Anyway, enough with the bad news, today an animator/ artist is coming in to talk about his work and life as an artist. Not only that but people from the tv station c4 are coming in and will probably interview him in our art building. So there may be a chance I will be on tv, even if it is just for a second. We'll have to just wait and see.

Edit: I 'm not going to be on tv, but our crappy moving image couch is.

Also, I got We Love Katamari! possibly one of the best games every in the entire history of everything that is anything.

Hey everyone, its been a while.

So I'm back to uni now and it looks like this year is going to be really full on. I just found out that my mid semester break is the easter weekend (the Friday-Monday) and then add the Tuesday. Not an incredibly long "study" break, but luckily theres only about 13 weeks all together in the semester.

I haven't really been doing very much art work lately, but I intend to get some of the work that I did last year up soon including the work I was going to submit at the end of last year but I kind of got a little self conscious over and didn't finish it. And that will probably happen when I drag myself away from FF XII

For this terms Moving Image project I have to work in a group to produce a short film. My group put me on music because of the stuff I produced for my installation project last term which I was fine with until someone in the group thought it was a great idea to do a musical.

But it gets worse....

My group wants to do a quick (but big) dance scene at the end, kind of like the one at the end of High School Musical but not as large scale. So even though I am probably going to be on camera for that scene I thought it was only fair to everyone who was dancing if I learnt the dance too. I'm not a great dancer, which was ok because neither were most of the other people who were dancing. Anyway, to cut a long story short, I subluxed (semi dislocated) my knee cap while practising the routine. So I learnt my lesson: Dancing= Bad (for me anyway)

I haven't written a journal in a while so I thought I would give a quick update.

I've been working almost non-stop on my animation for about a month and I was able to get it handed in in semi good condition. I want to "polish" it up before I submit it (and also before the big screening at uni)

I'm trying to get the movies I made to have a smaller load time while not being pixelated so you can still see the visuals

Also, it was my birthday last week. 20! Yey!

This term for my major I am making an animation! I have been waiting and planning over a year for this and now I have a couple of problems with my ideas. We have a MAXIMUM time limit of 2 minutes. Also, we have to come up with an original soundtrack. So that’s my ideas down the drain. However, I have been considering doing a "proper" cartoon version of First Attempt. But I'm still not too sure about it.

I have been wanting to submit the movies that I made last term but I'm not sure that I can even though they are original works. (There is some DA policy about movies placed into flash because of some copyright thing or something like that) I think I might submit them and see if they get removed or not.
